I think I almost died last night.

I bought some ingredients and made myself..... get ready for it...

... not one but TWO Long Island iced teas.

It was sort of ok. I used lemon juice instead of Triple Sec and Coke Zero which messed it up. After the first one, Sam stopped by to pick up my sister. I was still coherent.

For some reason after she left I made myself another one. Every step I took after that was a stumble. And this continued until around 3 am after trying to sleep 30 minutes at a time.

It safe to say I won't be doing that again. At least not on a work night.

I tried to make myself puke at one point but not much came out. I ended up drinking a lot of water for the rest of the night.

I used 2 oz shots x 4 different liquors. I had to fit it into one of those Hard Rock Cafe tall Pilsner glasses. And then I had another one within 2 hours so yeah. Don't call me a light weight.

but the real question is...did it taste like liquor, or like long island ice tea? they're tricky to pour.

i threw up on sunday too, from an overdose...jamie's biscuits are waaaaaaaay potent, what can i say.

It was close. The equal parts recipes don't work very well. Too ginny and I was missing the triple sec which was substituted with lemon juice. And the coke zero absolutely ruined it.

I'll have to try it aqain sometime... after I sober up from the last batch.

you have to explain what 2 drinks is...which is why I asked for clarification. You see 2 drinks to me is 2 beers, and yes that would get me fucked up, but I am a freak. THAT is why I didn't get it.

Long Island Iced Teas (when made properly) contain as much alcohol in one drink that most cocktails have in four.

if you want to get technical, one shot is equal to one and a half ounces of liquor, so brian had sixteen ounces, or almost approximately eleven shots.
