After looking at it a while, now I'm thinking I'll do it myself. $75 is a lot of money for that if I can figure it out. |

well, i don't have to do it now. we decided that spending $400 on line-x instead of having xmas and paying the house insurance wasn't a good idea. hopefully i'll get it done before summer. i'm just scared that they'll be rust on it by then.... |

It'll be fine. Moisture is the killer, the salt being the aggitator. I think I remember you said you're garaging it. Just make sure you don't collect water anywhere and knock off ice and slush from the undersides. Wash it whenever you can. Strive for doing it after wet weather when the roads dry out. |

You know what I mean. It's not slushy all the time. I've been there. |

it's pretty much slushy until may at this point. i think we'll have to dry the floors w/ paper towels every day until our mats arrive. i used rust reformer on that little spot on the floor, and it's already worn off! fucking shitty product. it's already a rust spot again. it must be because it's right where your heel sits when driving. I'm gonna try to sand it, then paint it this weekend. the floor liners are here in a week or so. i'm just trying to keep the floor dry until then but it's impossible. |

i did it and it came out very well. they're almost the same tint and everything, so at a glance you'd never know i did anything. then later that day the floor liners showed up. talk about custom fit. they just....barely fit. there was almost NO tolerance for error or anything, so may be they won't move too much. i did have to bend the rear liners around the seat belts. i bet they'd be better if I took out the seatbelts, put the liners in, and then put the seatbelts back in, but then they wouldn't be removable. |
